Randoms and OOTD

The top picture is my outfit of the day :) nothing very snazzy since I was just going to school.
Shirt- Forever 21 I think $5
Flower print shorts- Target. I forgot how much they were
Ring- Forever 21 around $5
Sorry for the messy room :p

Say hello to my newest addition to my every growing purse collection.
My mom went shopping without me last Sunday, which very rarely happens, but I was feeling like poop and I had homework to do. She did bring me home a new Coach purse and wallet though and not to mention about 5 pairs of Steve Madden shoes which I need to return because they are a tad too small. I'm not sure what collection this purse is from or what it's called but I love it. It's huge!

Tattoos

I've been toying with the idea of getting a tattoo, but not one that's huge. Just a small one that means something to me. These are from Tattoologist and I think they are absolutely gorgeous and very feminine.

Some Things I want and Like

This post is about some of the things I like and want.

These Steve Madden Pumps are completely adorable and I NEED them. I saw them in Macy's the other day and I think I may have drooled all over them.

I've been asking my mom to get me a subscription to Birch Box for a while now. I love the idea of getting monthly samples and products. I think the UK version Glossy Box is a little better, but I still want a Birch Box subscription! If you have one let me know how you like it please.

I cannot get enough Gossip Girl! I think Leighton Meester is so beautiful!
For my birthday I pleaded and pleaded for a Louis Vuitton Speedy bag, to no avail, but I did get a pretty Tiffany's bracelet :) Thanks mom!

I've been on the search for the PERFECT eyelashes, fake or real. I'm obsessed with them! I wear fake ones as often as I can. I just love the look of full long lashes. I think they are so seductive and totally girly.
I've also been on the look out for the perfect blinged out iPhone case. I need the glitz and the glam and so far I haven't found the right one yet so the search continues :(

And last, but not least I love the sexy just got out of bed hair that looks so unperfect that it is perfect.

Bored

While I'm sitting here thinking about life I figured I would mess around with Photo Booth :)
I don't have any make up on so I didn't want to scare you with a color picture lol. Follow me on twitter @girl_simplyy!

Annnnnd a pretty pink cardigan
That's all for now :)

RINGS

Most of them are from Forever 21,
and Nordstrom.

Sorry for all of the blogging I'm doing right now. I just figured that since I have the time right now I would get some done. Here is one with my lovely, glittery, sparkly, gaudy rings that I LOVE so much! I have more that I couldn't find to take a picture of, so here are some of them. I love my rings. I don't think an outfit is complete with out one on. I usually don't wear necklaces so I like to jazz up an outfit with one of these sparklers.

Awareness

I went shopping again today :) It's what I do. Actually we just needed to get my mom a new phone, but we ended up at Macy's where we stopped at the Estee Lauder counter and got this spiffy little gift set that supports breast cancer. Breast cancer really hits home for my mom because her niece, my cousin, lost the battle from it so she does what ever she can to support it, including buying some make-up. Here are some pictures of it. It came with a cute little pink case and a really nice shade of lipstick. I think the lipstick looks great on! If any of you out there are into Pink Ribbon stuff this is a must buy! I believe it was about $30.

Nails

Today I went and got my bi-monthly manicure and pedicure and I thought I would show you what I got. I use to get acrylics every time, but my nails became too brittle and weak so I switched to gel and I've been getting that done for about 9 months now. Since today is the first day of fall I thought it only fitting to get a nice deep color, even though the weather still says summer. So here's what I got.
It's a purple under color with a purple and blue glitter over color. I love it.

Shopping Trip

Ok so this post is a few days late. Needless to say I've had a lot going on. I know, I know I always use that excuse, but I really do so please hang in there with me.
The other day I went to the mall with my mom to pick up a few things and I got a few things for myself :)

So the first store we went to was Nordstroms. My mom's and my favorite store! I got this little tube skirt that I thought I would never wear, but it actually flatters me. It's so hard to find bottoms for me. The skirt was I think $22. Next I got a few rings. I am such a ring fanatic! I love rings, the gaudier the better. These two caught my eye right away! A crocodile and a little turtle, how cute are they??

The next store we went to was Forever 21. I love this store just as much as Nordstroms. First I got this little black cape. I love the styles of them and I actually have a grey one already. They are so Sherlock Holmesish. The next thing I got was this lacy little over top. I wore it yesterday with a black cami under it and it was super cute! Then finally I got some more rings! I cannot tell you enough how much I love cocktail rings. I think they just complete every outfit.

And finally the last stop was Macy's. I had to restock on my skin care products. Clinique 3 step skin care soap and lotion. I use this stuff religiously! I've been using it since about 6th grade and I love it. It keeps my skin clear and refreshed.

So that was my shopping trip haul! More posts to come soon I promise :)

New Stuff!

So I went to Target yet again and I found some more little gems that I thought you might like!
1) moroccan argan oil penetrating oil I saw this and I had to try it. So far it leaves my hair super soft and smelling delicious. I put it on my wet hair after a shower and just let it sink into my hair.
2) If you're anything like me and have dry hair then you'll be pleased to know that I found a cure! A miracle actually! Aussie 3 minute miracle moist deep conditioner. My friend got this and when I asked her how she liked it she had nothing but good things to say about it so I got it. It's used like a conditioner, but works oh so much better! And it smells like a tropical getaway! I would defiantly tell anyone with dry hair to try this out!
3) I couldn't just buy the moroccan argon oil penetrating oil I had to get the shampoo and conditioner as well. I love the shampoo, but the conditioner is another story. Not only did it leave my hair drier than it was before it made it more tangly! I would just stick to using the penetrating oil, shampoo, and renewing mask that I wrote about earlier.

Well that's all I have today! Hopefully sometime soon I can post some more! If you have any questions ask away! :)

Target Haul

So to beat the heat right now, I decided to go to my trusty Target and look at some new make-up. I got a few things from e.l.f and one thing from NYC.
I've been a fan of e.l.f for a while now so I decided I needed to get some more things from them. The one thing I love about e.l.f is their prices! I got everything you see up there for $10.09! Who can beat that??
1) The first thing I chose was the Brow Comb and Brush sees as how I lost mine a while back and never replaced it till now. And it was only $1!
2) Next is the Bronzing Brush. I've never owned a bronzing brush so I thought it was time to update my brush collection. This was only $1 too!
3) Now this isn't e.l.f, but I needed a new eyeliner sharpener because I broke mine today and NYC usually has really good products and this was only 95 cents.
4) This is the Cream Eyeliner in Black from e.l.f and I'm actually excited to try this out! I usually use liquid and I've never tried a cream before so I'll keep you updated on it! This was only $3 and it came with a tiny brush.
5) Ok so I have a sick obsession with false eyelashes! I wear them ALL the time! I usually wear Ardell in 105 but I saw these in from e.l.f and they were only $1 so I decided to go ahead and try them. Usually I stick just to my 105's but I couldn't pass up a great bargain and plus they look super natural. (Well natural for me anyways)
6) And last but not least is the e.l.f Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in 2402 Warm Tan. I'm a bronzer junkie and have more bronzers than shoes probably. I was going to go with the lighter color they had, but I was glad I chose this one! After swatching it I love the color. The feel is very velvety and smooth almost like a fine baby powder. And it's so shimmery!

That's all I got today! I'll do another post when I get more things. I am thinking about doing a whats in my bag post too so keep a look out for that too :) Have a lovely day!

Some of My Favorite Products

So I thought I would do a post on what I've been loving this past month. I guess a sort of late August favorites. And now I can actually post some current pictures too because I finally got a new camera! My old one was so scratched up and lame that I had to upgrade and what perfect opportunity than now because I have all of my birthday money :)

So the first thing I've been in love with is the e.l.f studio eyebrow kit in medium. I never knew how to fill in my eyebrows just right nor have I ever tried, but when I saw this in my local Target I just had to try it. I thought it was going to be difficult trying to put the gel base on first, but suprisingly it was easy! I'm usually a klutz when it comes to stuff like that and even tough the gel part looks dark and scary it actually goes on smooth and semi dark so if you mess up it's no big deal. Then there is the powder right next to the gel that you use to set it. I thought the powder was going to make my eyebrows look scary and cakey, but it didn't it made them look soft and less harsh than just having the gel on. It comes with a little brush, one side has an angled brush for the gel application and the other side a more fluffier brush for the powder. If you are new to filling in your eyebrows and don't know the first thing about it I would recommend this product! It works amazing and stays put!

The second thing is Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment. I got this from Ulta when I was looking for something for my super dry newly blond hair and I came across this little miracle in a bottle! Let me tell you if you haven't tried this stuff you must! I usually put a small amount in my hair right after I comb it while my hair is still damp and it makes it feel amazing and soft, but today in the shower I mixed a little in with my daily conditioner and OMG was I even more amazed! It worked with the conditioner to make my hair even softer and more moisturized than ever before. It says that it cuts down drying time, but I haven't noticed anything too drastic yet. A little goes a long way with this stuff!

Number three is a perfume I got last month as an early birthday present. It's Lovestruck by Vera Wang. Ok let me tell you I've been a huge fan of Vera Wangs perfumes ever since she came out with Princess. In high school I think I went through about 5 bottles of it, I loved it so much. I was excited that she came out with a new fragrance other than the spin offs of Princess (I have all of those too and I love them). Not to mention I love Leighton Meester, who is the spokes model for the fragrance, so it was a no brainer that I had to get it. I don't like floral scents at all! This one is kind of sweet with with a little spice and a teeny tiny hint of floral, but I got over that. It smells wonderful! And the packaging! How cute is that??

And finally the last product that I've been in love with is Oragnix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil. I saw this on a youtube video by makeupbymel and I just had to try it! It smells amazing and makes my hair sooooooo soft! Unlike the macadamia oil this is a cream that you put on your dry hair before you get in the shower and let it sit in for about 5 minutes then rinse it out. The first time I used it it was in heaven! It's so creamy and rich you just know it's going to work. And after you get out of the shower your hair smells amazing and fells so soft and smooth you won't be able to stop running your fingers through it!

Sorry I typed so much! But those are my favorite products for now! Follow me on twitter @girl_simplyy if you have any questions feel free to ask away! Have a great day <3

My Blonde Hair

Ok so I'm finally off work and able to process things and not in zombie mode lol. I thought I would do a post about my newly blonde hair! About a month ago I decided to go blonde and by blonde I mean a rich honey blonde with some brown still speckled in with the ombre look. I went from dark, dark brown (my natural hair color). A few days after I went blonde my hair was so brittle and dry and just a tangled mess! I generally have really tangly hair, but it was 10x worse. I tried using Redkin All Soft Shampoo, but nothing. Then I started using the deep conditioning masque from Maccadamia Oil and OMG I cannot tell you how amazing it made my hair feel! from just one treatment I was in love. It made my hair so silky and tangle free all day which I thought was impossible. And it smells so good! I got this from Ulta and I'm never going back! I'll post a picture of my blonde hair because I have one, but as soon as I get my camera up and working again I'll post some pictures of the products I use. Have a lovely day <3 (P.S Its a really horrible picture of me, but I hope you get the idea)

Good Morning!

Hello all of you lovely people! I just wanted to say good morning to everyone :) I'm off to work for a while, but when I'm off I promise I'll post some more things! Tell me what you guys want to hear! Oh and follow me on twitter @girl_simplyy

School and hair

So since class was canceled I thought I would do another blog post while I sit in the library twiddling my thumbs hehe.
I have a question for all of you out there? Where do you go to buy the best hair care products? I mean shampoo and conditioner wise. I've been going to Ulta, but none of their stuff actually works for me. See I dyed my hair blonde a few weeks ago and now it's so dried out! I need suggestions! I'll post a picture of my blondish hair when I get home and have access to a real computer.
